With the continuous development and progress of society, China's urban power grids have undergone tremendous changes, and most cities have formed or are forming numerous areas with dense electricity loads. The previous power supply method from substations' 10kV lines (or branch lines) directly to users can no longer meet the requirements of urban development. Therefore, a new power supply method has emerged—supplying power to users through switching stations. However, with the increasing urban density, some of the original civil engineering-type switching stations have been restricted by land and urban planning, leading to the emergence of a more advanced and practical distribution device—an outdoor small intelligent switching station (outdoor ring main unit). This switching station requires no civil construction, occupies a small area, and is very flexible in configuration. The power supply method is more reliable, construction, installation, and commissioning times are greatly shortened, and the overall cost is reduced.
With the development of modern industry, the level of automation and intelligence in electrical equipment control is increasing. Using modern electronic technology, sensor technology, communication technology, computer and network technology to integrate monitoring, protection, control, and metering of power equipment under normal and fault conditions to achieve good management has become an inevitable trend and development direction.
The intelligent small switching station (outdoor ring main unit) adopts a solution inspired by European switching stations, integrating 10kV switchgear, circuit breakers, load switches, current CTs, voltage transformers PTs, switching station DTUs, communication control terminals (CCU), 10kV metering and automatic meter reading, UPS power supplies, and indicator instruments into a movable, sealed, moisture-proof stainless steel enclosure. This realizes the integration of primary and secondary systems in urban distribution networks and modular assembly, shortening construction cycles and greatly improving the reliability of urban power grid operation.
Product Features:
The cabinet adopts a modular combination form, facilitating flexible expansion. The key components of the gas ring main unit are sealed inside a stainless steel gas tank filled with SF6/environmentally friendly gas, featuring excellent arc extinguishing capability and electrical performance; the primary circuit of the solid ring main unit uses APG automatic gel technology, completely encapsulating the arc extinguishing chamber, isolating switch, and grounding switch in epoxy resin, connected by standardized cable plugs and bus connectors.
High craftsmanship level, the enclosure sealing uses intelligent robot seamless welding to ensure perfect sealing, with a protection level reaching IP67.
Equipped with high-performance components, possessing good mechanical properties and electrical insulation performance, characterized by safety, reliability, long service life, and maintenance-free features.
The enclosure uses 304 high-strength stainless steel plates, effectively preventing corrosion caused by moisture and salt spray, and can withstand harsh environments.
Equipped with the ability to collect three-phase current, three-phase voltage, zero-sequence current, and zero-sequence voltage, meeting the requirements for calculating active power, reactive power, power factor, frequency, and electric energy.
Features functions such as phase-to-phase and ground fault handling, electric energy collection, and communication, allowing flexible configuration of operating parameters and control logic according to actual operating conditions.
